Frente a la iglesia hay un cartel colocado por el ayuntamiento que pone lo siguiente: PALACIO DE LABRA, siglo XVII con vestigios anteriores. Palacio barroco rural, que fue casa solar de los Soto desde el año 1607 en que Pedro González de Soto adquiere la propiedad a Toribio Herrado. La parte mas antigua es la torre oriental, levantada en la Edad Media, siendo añadida la torre occidental y el cuerpo central que las une en la segunda mitad del siglo XVII. Con posterioridad paso a poder de los condes de la Carrera. El conjunto palacial esta formado por diferentes construcciones, entre las que destaca la capilla de Santa Rosa de Vitervo, del siglo XVII, desmontada y trasladada piedra a piedra en 1975 desde su emplazamiento original en Corao.</p>
